North Mission Viejo Little League (NMVLL) is a non-profit, 100% volunteer run organization. In order to ensure volunteer responsibilities are spread fairly among all league participants, each family is required to fulfill TWO (2) VOLUNTEER SHIFTS per registered player (capped at FOUR (4) shifts for families with two or more children playing in the league).
The most common ways to fulfill the volunteer requirement are by working in the snack bar or umpiring home games (AA, AAA, Majors division games only). Families are encouraged to umpire games in divisions other than the one their child is currently playing in.
Families who are unable to volunteer may buy-out their shifts in advance for a $150 tax-deductible donation per player, per season ( capped at $250 for families with two or more children playing in the league).
VOLUNTEERING OR BUYING-OUT YOUR SHIFTS IN ADVANCE IS A CONDITION OF REGISTRATION.
Each team is responsible for providing additional volunteers on game days (i.e. field prep, umpires, scorekeeping) - these are in addition to the snack bar volunteer requirement. The allocation of these game day volunteer duties is at the discretion of each team.
SNACK BAR LOCATION: The North Snack Bar is located between North Field #7 (Majors) and North Field #8 (AAA).
