Major - Little League Baseball
This is the division that Little League World Series dreams are made of! Majors is designed for children of league ages 10-12. All players attend a player evaluation and teams are formed based on a draft. Player evaluations determine whether or not a player is ready to move up a division and help to create more balanced teams.
Rosters are composed of 12 players, the diamond is 60 feet, and the pitching distance is 46 feet. Score and standings are kept throughout the season, ending with a playoff tournament to determine the division champions. Some players will be eligible to play on an All-Star team if selected.
Majors teams are comprised of the players that you see when you watch the Little League World Series.
